App Privacy
What the OtterSlide app collects — matching the App Store privacy label. Last updated: 30 June 2026
In short
OtterSlide is offline-first. You don't need to create an account, we never ask for your name or email, and your high score stays on your device. The only data processing in the app comes from the ads it shows (Google AdMob).
What we collect ourselves
Nothing on our servers. The app has no login and no user accounts, and it sends no personal data to us. Your best score is stored locally on your device only.
Advertising — Google AdMob
The app shows ads through Google AdMob. To deliver and measure them, Google's SDK may process:
- Device and advertising identifiers (e.g. IDFA)
- Approximate location derived from your IP address
- Ad interaction and usage data
- Diagnostics (crash and performance data)
This data is processed by Google as a separate controller. Details and opt-out options: Google Privacy Policy · How Google uses data from ads.
No tracking
The app does not request tracking permission (no App Tracking Transparency prompt on iOS) and does not use your advertising identifier to track you across apps. You only ever see non-personalized ads.
Purchases
“Remove Ads” is an in-app purchase handled entirely by Apple. We don't receive your payment details. Removing ads also stops AdMob's ad-related data processing in the app.
App Store privacy label
For transparency, this is what is declared in the App Store:
- Used to track you: none
- Data not linked to you: Identifiers, Usage Data, Diagnostics, Coarse Location
- Data linked to you: none
All of the above is via Google AdMob; we collect nothing ourselves.
Children
OtterSlide is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children.
Website
This page covers the iOS app. For how this website processes data (analytics, web ads), see our Privacy Policy.
